To measure your chest, bring the tape around your back and to your front. Pull it around the fullest point of your chest. Hold the measuring tape horizontal. Please hold two fingers between the measuring tape and your skin.
Don't measure where your pants finish — this is not your natural waist. Your waist is the smallest part of your torso and right underneath your rib cage just above your belly button. Make sure the tape is horizontal. Hold 3 fingers between your skin and the measuring tape.
Put the first end of the measuring tape at the base of the back of your neck and measure down to the bottom of your butt. If you plan to always tuck the shirt in, or want a slightly shorter shirt. Decrease your measurement with 2 centimeters.
Have your arm just slightly bent. Measure from the tip of your shoulder over the elbow to your wrist line. You can also ask a friend to assist you with this measurement. Tip: the sleeves measurement is very forgiving. If you are unsure. Try to go on the longer side of your measurement.
